Rooms

All rooms in Straigona B&B are en-suite and heated by radiators with thermostats. Included are Tea/Coffee making facilities, radio/alarm clocks, Smart TV's, free WiFi Internet access, hairdryers, shaver point, hot water bottle, information packs on Orkney. An ironing board and iron are available on request. All beds have hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows.

Extra pillows / throws / bathrobes and toiletries are also provided.

As our bedrooms are all on the 1st floor we regret they are not wheelchair friendly.

Our rooms:

Inganess – Double/Family room with en-suite shower. Contains both Double and single bed. To see a video of this room please follow this link

Scapa – Twin bedded or superking room with en-suite shower. To see a video of this room please follow this link

Skaill – Superking (can be made up as a twin) room with en-suite bath with shower over. To see a video of this room please follow this link

Dining Room – A bright room, which catches the morning sun, with patio doors out to patio area. Contains a small fridge and microwave for guests use and has fresh milk for anyone preferring fresh to the long life cartons supplied in rooms. Usually there is a good supply of homebakes! You are welcome to use the dining room at any time and we are happy to provide crockery and cutlery if you want to bring back a take-away.

A selection of fiction, Orkney books, maps, binoculars and various visitor information is provided on the bookcase just outside the dining room.
